Featured in Urban Ideal Magazine
I am so thrilled that two of my shots were featured in the first issue of URBAN IDEAL MAGAZINE. As the Editor In-Chief Mark Cornick says:
The Urban Ideal platform was created to showcase Urban Photography from around the world, and to interact and learn from photographers working at the pinnacle of this genre of image making.
When I opened the magazine I was truly happy that two of my shots appeared there among so many amazing images from all around the globe. In the issue 1 you can see great shots from great photographers like Alex Stelmacovich, Peter Stewart, Alexander Mueller, Tim Gaweco and many others. What I like about this magazine is showing the full spectrum of urban photography. You will find there dozens of great shots that will inspire you, and hopefully make you move your ass and start shooting, urban shooting. What is “urban” for me? Well urban is city, and city is an oragnism for me, it is like a living creature, if you film it from the above you will see people moving around, just like looking at specimen through a microscope. For me urban shooting is taking shots of buildings, architecture but mainly is observing and capturing the interaction between people and city itself. The aspects of urban photography are endless I believe. I can just second what Tim Gaweco said when he was asked why is he drawn to shooting urban images:
Living in a large metropolitan city drew me to the urban environment. I love the city, its energy, the people, the life. There’s an infinite amount of things to capture in a city and so much randomness that makes it easy to create something unique. Every city has a distinct culture and architecture which inspires me to keep on exploring.
I was hoping to see many different aspects of city shots in the Urban Ideal Magazine and I wasn’t disappointed. So how does the magazine look like? Well I think it looks awesome! Let’s have a look:

Great thing is that there are some really great interviews in the magazine that give you more detailed insight to the urban photographer methods of work and approach to the subject. And of course – photos! Lots of them! I must say that I love every single one of them. I was familiar with works of some featured photographers but I did not know everyone. It was a real visual treat for my eyes and senses. I will definately look forward to next issues.
